Who returns to Beetlejuice Beetlejuice?

Tim Burton recently admitted that he could not have made the sequel until now because his inspiration was his connection to Winona Ryder’s Lydia Deetz. Now, over three decades later, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice reunites the spirit of most and some of the most beloved characters from the original.

In addition to Ortega, who plays Lydia’s daughter Astrid, the sequel stars Justin Theroux as Rory, Monica Belluci as Beetlejuice’s ex-wife, Willem Dafoe as Wolf Jackson, a B-movie action star who becomes a ghost detective, as well as Burn Gorman, Danny DeVito, Arthur Conti and Filipe Cates.
