A memorial service for the homecoming will be held on Saturday, August 24th at 3:00 p.m. at Pointe of Praise Church.

Elizabeth Waters70, daughter of the late Paul Waters and Annye Smith, died on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. She was born on December 31, 1953 in Manhattan.

Elizabeth, affectionately known as Noonie, was a graduate of Fort Valley State University. Elizabeth spent many years as a minority affairs representative for Nike in Beaverton, Oregon before returning to Kingston. Noonie loved sharing pictures and videos of her two granddaughters, Ryan and Ridley. They were truly the apple of her eye. She loved listening to music and attending live concerts whenever she could. Elizabeth also loved watching football and basketball, especially her beloved Giants. Her favorite thing to do was talk to anyone who didn’t like the Giants. Noonie loved her family and friends and made sure to constantly stay in touch with all of her family across the country.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter Kifah Margolis, her husband Jason, two granddaughters, Ryan and Ridley Margolis, her brother James Harris and his wife Sheila, her sister Kenyetta Williams and her husband Michael and her brother Michael Smith and his wife Cheryl, a loyal and loving friend, Edward Thomas, several close friends in Albany, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins ​​whom she loved very much. She was predeceased by two brothers: Bilal Abdul-Baqi and Paul Waters.
