Um, hello. How are we already at the penultimate episode of The Snake Queen Season 2? I can’t believe episode 7 is here already. Wow, time has flown! Last week’s episode was a little slower to give us a chance to catch our breath after the events of episode 5. I wonder how the show will continue the story this week to build up to the finale.

But before we get to the season finale, here’s everything you need to know about the latest episode. The Snake Queen Season 2, episode 7, “A House Divided,” will be released on Starz on Friday, August 23, 2024. You can tune in via the Starz app starting at 12 p.m. ET, or wait until 8 p.m. ET to watch it on the Starz channel. I’m most curious about the fate of King Charles, because in the final moments of episode 6 we saw that he’s coughing up blood and is probably very ill. And what’s going on with Queen Elizabeth? Is she really going to marry one of her brothers? We’ll have to wait for the episode to find out, but the synopsis and Starz preview video give a taste of what’s to come!

“Tensions escalate as Edith and her followers exploit their newfound power, while Catherine struggles with political manipulation and betrayal. When Queen Elizabeth’s plans are exposed, Catherine must devise a strategy to secure her power and navigate a web of deception.”

Based on the title of the episode, I think Catherine will still have some difficulty bonding with her royal children and getting them to get along. And the twist of Francois and Princess Margot potentially getting married? Interesting. We know she would be more than happy about that. And Edith. Oh, Edith. She definitely seems to continue to be a problem, and her power will apparently grow even more now. Check out the first images below!
