Amsterdam Dance Event announces 4 opening concerts

As the summer months draw to a close, the electronic music community is gearing up for its annual stop at the Amsterdam Dance Event, or ADE. Today, four official kick-off concerts for the program were announced.

Every October, the electronic music industry takes over Amsterdam for a week of panels, meetups and events to celebrate and grow the community. The Amsterdam Dance Event brings together some of the biggest names in the industry, giving artists and fans from all over the world the chance to interact and listen to the creators. In addition to the panels and demo feedback sessions, many of the world’s biggest talents also take to the stage and deliver incredible performances to the crowds. The ADE team has prepared four incredibly unique launch concerts for this year’s event to showcase the versatility and diversity of the industry.

The performance will be more classical and jazz influenced. Greetje Bijma X Oceanic comes together for a free set before LUXURY takes over for a live performance at Bimhaus for a night of genre-free expression. The closing event is a tribute with Metropolis Orchestra which honors the works of the famous producer J. Dilla at Milking Wayand interprets his music in new and exciting ways.
