Gasoline prices in the Midwest region have dropped since last week: Here you can see how much
According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, regional gasoline prices fell for the second week in a row, reaching an average price of $3.32 per gallon of regular gasoline on Monday, down from the previous week’s price of $3.39 per gallon.
The average fuel price in the Midwest has fallen by about 10 cents since last month. According to the EIA, gasoline prices across the region last year were as low as $2.77 on Jan. 8, 2024, and as high as $3.77 on Aug. 14, 2023.
A year ago, the average price of gasoline in the U.S. Midwest was $3.72 per gallon, an increase of 11 percent.

The average price of gasoline in the United States last week was $3.38, putting prices in the Midwest about 1.8 percent below the national average. The average national price of gasoline is down from last week’s average of $3.41 per gallon.
Prices in the Midwestern states, as compiled by the U.S. Energy Information Administration, include Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee and Wisconsin.
