Prime Video has now given a first look at the final episode of The Grand Tour: One For The Road.

The first snapshots show the emotional Grand Tour stars Jeremy Clarkson (64), Richard Hammond (54) and James May (61) coming together one last time and sharing their final moments together after gracing television screens as a trio for the past 22 years.

In their final adventure, viewers watch Jeremy, Richard and James ignore Mr. Wilman’s instructions and drive to Zimbabwe in three cars they’ve always wanted to own.

The trio embark on a breathtaking road trip through beautiful, challenging landscapes in a Lancia Monte Carlo, a Ford Capri 3-litre and a Triumph Stag, before the episode ends with an emotional ending on a strangely familiar island.

In a first snap, the trio can be seen sitting around a campfire, giggling while sipping a few beers and enjoying a relaxing break by a stunning lake.

A third snap shows Jeremy sharing a little giggle with Richard as they all take a break from driving.

The Grand Tour: One For The Road will be released on September 13 exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries.

After 22 years, the TV partnership between Jeremy, Richard and James has finally ended.

Earlier this year, when the penultimate Grand Tour special aired, all three men indicated they would not work together again, meaning their final special, already filmed in Zimbabwe, will be their last appearance.

But Richard insisted earlier this year that the three of them would make the decision “in a place, in a manner and at a time of our choosing.”

He added: “We made our decision a long time ago. We wanted to keep control over when, where and how we land.”

That time has now come, as earlier this month it was announced that all three had signed a dissolution agreement with their company, W. Chump and Sons, which produced the shows.

On July 11, the company filed three documents with the Commercial Registry: a declaration of solvency, the appointment of a voluntary liquidator and a “special resolution for liquidation”.

The company’s most recent financial statements show annual sales of £6 million and assets of £3.8 million.

The premiere of “The Grand Tour” took place on November 18, 2016. The show was conceived after Jeremy, Richard and James left the BBC series “Top Gear”.

When the show launched, it followed a similar format to Top Gear between 2016 and 2019, and included car tests and timed laps, motorsport challenges and racing.

However, after the third season, the production team changed this format and focused future series on producing special car films, with episodes released at regular intervals.

Top Gear was also one of the company’s most popular hits and its loyal fans attended live events, bought merchandise and came to watch filming at Dunsfold Aerodrome.

One television critic said that what was special about “Top Gear” was the chemistry between the three men, who were friends in a way that felt “like a power struggle between three spoiled delinquents from a luxury reform school.”
