If you’re immersed in Gamescom news like we are, you may have also missed that Amazon is releasing a new video series for New Worldwhich is specifically designed to introduce console newcomers to the Aeternum remake of the still-an-MMORPG title – although it will of course reintroduce the game to PC players and diehard fans as well. In fact, Amazon admits that it has released parts of this series before, but the studio says it has “adapted and expanded” the series to fit “community feedback,” so it seems we’re getting the remastered episodes now.

“We’re excited to introduce our new video series, Discovering Aeternum, with two new episodes released every week from today through mid-December,” says the studio. “Divided into three phases of 34 episodes, Discovering Aeternum will teach new players valuable tips on how to arrive, survive, and thrive in the harsh environment of Aeternum.”

So far we have two episodes, both of which feature NPC Pirate Queen Grace O’Malley explaining the basics of the game world and setting. If the math is right, we’ll get two more episodes every week until December 11th, long after Aeternum’s official launch date of October 15th.
