TUX mobility wins DHL Fast Forward Challenge 2024

The Dutch company received the award at DHL’s Era of Sustainable Logistics

DHL named TUX mobility the winner of its recent Fast Forward Challenge, recognizing the company for developing the world’s first solar-powered, self-charging, light electric cargo vehicle.

Founded in the Netherlands and currently operating in India, TUX Mobility’s unique solution effectively meets today’s demand for low-carbon electric and alternative delivery vehicles.

The latest edition of the DHL Fast Forward Challenge: Sustainable Solutions took place in Singapore at the DHL Era of Sustainable Logistics Asia Pacific Chapter.

Katja Busch, Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Customer Solutions and Innovation at DHL, said of the challenge: “A sustainable economy needs sustainable logistics. The aim of the latest Fast Forward Challenge is to bring innovative startups that offer practical, sustainable solutions for logistics and supply chains together with DHL.”

What happens next?

TUX mobility’s victory in the Fast Forward Challenge will enable the company to launch a joint pilot project with DHL in the Asia-Pacific region. The company will also receive expert support from DHL’s innovation team to further develop and scale up its solar-powered cargo vehicle.
