After a series premiere where we are still trying to figure out what is real and what is not – as with everything related to the Emmy award-winning animated series – Adult Swim and Takashi Sano‘S (Tower of God) Rick and Morty: The Anime returns this week with its second chapter. In the clip below (which awaits you above), Space Beth sees an opportunity to take down the Galactic Federation while Summer tries to convince her that Rick is in real trouble. Speaking of which, it looks like Rick is about to have a very tense, candid conversation with himself—okay, not himself. You know what we mean. A version of himself. Don’t make us say “variant,” because we feel like Marvel might sue us. Anyway, you get what I mean…

Rick and Morty: Stories from other dimensions

Led by Masaru Matsumoto (Starship Troopers: Traitors of Mars) and comes from Sola Entertainment, the Halloween-inspired The Great Yokai Battle of Akihabara Rick attempts to build the ultimate AI toaster until a trip to Akihabara to get spare parts takes a surprising turn for our dimension-spanning duo. ScrewsHere is a look at The Great Yokai Battle of Akihabarafollowed by looks at other previously released short films:

The film was directed by Takashi Sano, produced by Sola Entertainment and animated by Telecom Animation Film. Rick and Morty vs Genocider Morty goes on an adventure to Tokyo, Japan to try to stop the “genocide”. And yes, it is beautiful, emotional and some really weird things happen:

Sano returned with the new short film (produced by Sola Entertainment and animated by Telecom Animation Film), Summer Meets God (Rick Meets Evil)– as a sequel to his previous short film, Rick & Morty vs. Genocider. Here’s a look at the short film focusing on Summer and Jerry, which goes in a direction we didn’t expect:

Screenplay and direction Kaichi Sato and produced by Studio DEEN, “Samurai & Shogun” finds Rick WTM72 (Yohei Tadano) and Shogun Morty (Keisuke Chiba) in a Lonely wolf and his cub-Theme dimension. A nasty group of Ninja Ricks are not willing to let Shogun Morty go without a fight – an option that Rick WTM72 more than willing to obey. From there we take a look at the follow-up short film that continues the story, Samurai and Shogun Part 2:

In the creative spirit of Samurai and Shogun by Kaichi Sato and Rick & Morty vs Genocider by Takeshi Sano, here is a look at Rick and Morty in the Eternal Nightmare Machine– where even the “Rick-mobile” can be deadly, and you will wonder, like us, why Scary Terry is not a downloadable character for a fighting game like Mortal Kombat:
