However, people seemed reassured after seeing a simulation of what might happen when time on this Earth runs out.

Zack D. Films has published a video on his YouTube channel of a simulation of what some researchers claim happens to our brains when we die.

“These waves activate parts of the brain associated with memory and consciousness, and this can last up to two minutes after death.

“Because there is no biological reason for this, some researchers believe it is programmed into the brain, giving you a chance to recall the memories one last time.”

Meanwhile, Dr. Rahul Jandial, a neurosurgeon and neurobiologist trained in both neurosurgery and neurobiology, has been studying what happens to our brains after we die.

He told his colleague, Dr. Rangan Chatterjee, in his podcast titled Feel better, live more: “The way the brain dies is haunting and really affected me because there is a measurement that shows something very dramatic.

“We used to think that death was a time of cardiac arrest, when no electrical signal comes from the heart.”
