From the looks of things, NXT will certainly be making things more exciting ahead of the No Mercy PLE. Below are the spoilers for the next episode of WWE NXT on August 27, 2024:
- Karmen Petrovic vs Izzy Dame – Karmen Petrovic wins
- Fallon Henley and Jacy Jane vs. Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson – Fallon Henley and Jacy Jane won this fight. Henley busted his nose midway through the fight but was able to finish the fight after some medical attention.
- Stacks Lorenzo, Luca Crusifino and Adriana Rizoo against NQCC – Lorenzo, Crusifino and Rizzo won and were too strong for NQCC.
- Zachary Wentz and Wes Lee faced each other for the first time after Lee’s heel turn at the Great American Bash
- Kelani Jordan vs. Rosemary – Jordan defeated Rosemary but was attacked by Wendy Choo after the match ended.
- Brooks Jensen vs. Malik Blade – Blade could not stand up to Jensen and lost this fight
- Joe Coffey vs. Je’Von Evans – Coffey won this match, but only after interference from Mark Coffey. Evans seemed to be the favorite.
- Joe Hendry performed a concert for Ethan Page. The champion came out to confront Hendry, but the crowd just wouldn’t let him get a word in. They kept singing the lyrics of Hendry’s song over and over to drown out Page’s voice. Ava also appeared and informed Ethan Page that Trick Williams would be the special referee for his match at No Mercy. This decision was made due to Ethan’s disrespectful attitude towards the officials.
These segments and matches take place right before the No Mercy PLE. From the looks of things, we can enjoy some quality wrestling and storytelling before No Mercy. Joe Hendry’s concert in particular will be a great way to end the show on next week’s episode. It will also be exciting to see what Trick Williams has in store for us as a guest referee for Ethan Page vs. Joe Hendry.
Things are heating up in NXT as we gear up for another action-packed PLE. It will be interesting to see what else they have in store for us next week.
