JoJo Siwa has a girlfriend.

JoJo Siwa, runner-up of the 30th season of “Dancing With the Stars,” has made her new relationship public. The TikTok star is dating former “So You Think You Can Dance” actress Dakayla Wilson.

Siwa shared the news on her Instagram stories on August 14, uploading a video of her and Wilson standing next to each other during a dance lesson.

“So, I have a girlfriend,” Wilson says, and the girls in the class started screaming and jumping up and down. Wilson was the runner-up to season 18 winner Anthony Curly on SYTYCD.

“The cat is out of the bag,” Siwa captioned the video of Wilson jumping on her and the two hugging. In another post, the two held hands on an apparent date.

“Perfect day,” Siwa captioned this post.

Siwa came out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community in 2021.

Fans reacted to news about JoJo Siwa’s girlfriend on social media

Shortly after Siwa and Wilson went public, a fan account shared some stills from their video. Other fans reacted to the new relationship in the comments section of the post.

“I’m happy for them and glad they are happy together,” read the caption of the fan account’s post, which Siwa shared in her Instagram stories.

“I love that they share this with us,” one person wrote.

“Cute photo of you two,” read another comment.

“Jojo, I’m begging! If you want this to stay like this, get out of Disneyland. Take that girlfriend somewhere else,” added a third social media user.

JoJo Siwa admitted she was afraid of finding love again

Some of Siwa’s recent relationships have been in the public eye. She previously dated Kylie Prew and Avery Cyrus.

In an April 2024 interview, the “So You Think You Can Dance” judge admitted that one of her previous romances made her “scared” of love.

“I’ve been treated really, really badly in terms of love, really badly. And now I’m very afraid of it and I realize that,” Siwa said on an episode of the podcast “Call Her Daddy.”

“I, so, I can, so, I can, I just can’t find it again,” she said of trying to enter into a new, serious relationship.

Siwa went on to talk about a “trauma” she suffered from a previous relationship and how it affected her. She did not specify which person she was referring to.

“My last relationship was very public, and it was by our mutual will. Our coming together was very public,
“Our official relationship was very public, our breakup was very public. So much happened that if that microphone wasn’t on, I would tell you anonymously what she did, what she told me, but I had to have my security team handle that,” Siwa said on the podcast.

“And I found out that she was the one who I can’t give anything to, I can’t, I can’t, it’s like this created a trauma that I didn’t even know I had until now. I thought, oh, that’s why you can’t talk to a girl, that’s why,” she added.
