Bob Mould plays his final show with Seth Meyers’ 8G Band and then goes on tour – including two stops in Pennsylvania.

The 8G Band will make its final appearance as the house band on NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on Thursday, August 22nd.

Guitarist Bob Mould will be joining the band. “I’m honored to be part of the 8G Band’s farewell on Thursday. It’s the end of a fantastic time, it’s definitely bittersweet and I hope NBC allows us to play extra loud!” said Mould.

After this show, Mould will go on tour, which includes two stops in Pennsylvania. – 15 September at the Musikfest Cafe in Bethlehem and 17 September at the Thunderbird Café and Music Hall in Pittsburgh.

Opening acts include J. Robbins, Che Arthur, WE Thompson, David Barbe, Sam Hoffman and Cash Langdon. Robbins will play 10 of the September shows, while Barbe will open nine of the October shows, according to a press release from Big Hassle Media.

Fans can watch Late Night with Seth Meyers weekdays at 12:30 a.m. on NBC. According to Deadline, while the show was renewed for season 12, the band was axed due to budget cuts.
