11-year-old girl hit and killed by car while cycling
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – An 11-year-old girl riding a bicycle was struck and killed by a motorist in Harrison Township Tuesday night.
Allegheny County Police said the child was struck by a vehicle on Kuntz Street around 7:30 p.m.
When emergency services arrived at the scene, they performed life-saving measures on the girl, but she died at the scene.
The Allegheny County Coroner’s Office has identified the girl as 11-year-old Roxanne Bonnoni.

Second child hit and killed in Pittsburgh area this week
Tuesday’s fatal incident was the second time in three days that a child on a bicycle was hit and killed by a car.
The police said Courtney Carter was riding her bicycle on Rosedale Street in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood on Sunday when the driver of the SUV hit and killed her.
