Where can you watch the 2024 America’s Cup in Barcelona?

On 22 August Pre-regatta The 37th edition of the America’s Cup will take place and from then on there are three months full of exciting sailing races ahead.

It is the first time that the oldest continuously held international sports competition in the world will be held in Barcelona.

All races will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., weather conditions permitting.

Here are some of the different places where you can watch the regattas and races.

Watch online stream

The event will be broadcast on television by public broadcasters TV3 and TVE.

The races can also be followed on the America’s Cup website, Facebook page and live broadcast on YouTube.

Regattas will also be available via Eurosport.

Beaches and spectator areas

The bases of all teams are located in the Port Vell area and the race track takes place directly outside the harbor entrance piers.

These races can be viewed for free in Beaches from Sant Miquel, La Barceloneta and Somorrostro as well as from Plaça Rosa dels Vents and Port Olímpic.

It will also Fan zones is located at Plaça del Mar and Bogatell.

The organizers also recommend bringing a phone so that you can follow the racing action live.

Over and beyond Racing village in Moll de la Fusta A large auditorium as well as a place for culture and gastronomy will be created.

The Race Village stage will host musical performances and events with the main sailors of the competing teams. The aim of this space is to bring the event closer to the public.

Follow the races from the water

If you have a boator are you planning to rent one to watch the regattas from the water? There are certain areas around the racecourse reserved for boats and yachts.

To experience the races from the water, registration is required on the organizer’s website.

The Las Golondrinas boat company also offers tickets that allow you to experience the regattas near the race track and offers guided tours of the teams’ bases from the water.

The Hospitality ClubLocated in Port Olímpic, offers a luxurious experience with unique race viewing.

This package also includes locally inspired menus and unique cocktails.

The prices for the hospitality packages range between 500 and 1,100 euros.
