Earlier this month, Lopez spoke about her enduring love for Affleck, sharing how their decades-long on-off romance served as inspiration for the project.

“I’ve been on this journey trying to understand it. Now I feel like I have something to offer because Ben and I have rediscovered each other – and now that we’re married,” she told Variety during its February cover story. “This is the crucial work that will close this chapter so I can move on to the next part of my life.”

The wedding came a year after rekindling their romance in 2021. The duo began dating in 2002 but called off their engagement two years later. Affleck later married Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018 and the couple have three children together: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 11.
