Recap of Season 2, Episode 11 of “Real Housewives of Dubai”

Welcome back to our Real Housewives of Dubai Recap of Season 2, Episode 11, where the women have just returned from their (mostly) healing trip to Bali. In this week’s episode, aptly named “Hold Your Horses,” Brooks keeps the spirit of peace alive by hosting a polo match. Not feeling peaceful, however, is Sara, who almost had to live through a real-life version of the movie “96 Hours.” Meanwhile, Stanbury and Sergio continue to disagree about their future, putting the Real Housewives of Dubai Season 2, Episode 11 in a difficult position.

Lesa, Stanbury and Ayan want to move on, but underlying tensions play a role in Real Housewives of Dubai

Last week, everyone came together. As Ayan tells her husband Chris, she and Lesa reconciled in Bali. Chris calls his wife a loyal friend.

Lesa and her husband Rich discuss the same thing, with Lesa noting that Bali “was a lot.” For her, “the worst part was obviously with Ayan.” Then Lesa goes over the mess in the voicemail and I never want to write about it again.

“I guess she (Ayan) thought Stanbury was her boyfriend. Now she knows she only has one boyfriend and that’s me,” Lesa recalls. Rich laughs and rightly notes that women are ridiculous.

The camera pans back to Ayan, who also brings up the voicemail story (UGH) and tells Chris that Lesa doesn’t trust her anymore. To make matters worse, Lesa said this in front of everyone, which hurt Ayan. Even though Stanbury brought up this voicemail story, Ayan is more angry at Lesa than Stanbury.

Lesa tells Rich that Ayan slammed the door in her face. When she confesses, Lesa jokes, “I won’t forget. But I’m willing to forgive in order to move on. But I already told you, Ayan, that Stanbury will take you down. That girl is not your girlfriend.”

Ayan is cautious. She is making progress with Stanbury, but she will do it slowly.

Stanbury invites Lesa to lunch. Lesa hopes that this lunch with “a snake” will not serve to justify “her (Stanbury) throwing Ayan under the bus,” as Lesa finds that point invalid.

Stanbury’s birthday and Brooks’ polo match are coming up, and a nice gesture is coming for Ayan Beauty

Stanbury and Sergio are grateful for their new home. The building process was stressful, which many of us can understand. Also stressful is her difficult friendship with Ayan. To help, Stanbury wants to make things right between Ayan and Lesa.

Sergio notices that Stanbury’s birthday is approaching. Stanbury hates surprises and doesn’t want anything big. Sergio accepts her request.

Speaking of big: Brooks organizes a polo match for the ladies. In her invitation, she asks her friends to come “impressively dressed” because she will “judge their fit.”

Ayan Beauty is growing, so she meets with her good friend Huda Kattan, the founder of Huda Beauty. Huda is excited about the samples Ayan shows her, but she tells Ayan to build and grow her business before she seeks investors. She then offers to connect Ayan with retailer Sephora, to which Ayan replies, “Sure, yes, please.”

Three cheers for women supporting other women.

Sara’s shocking revelation about her housekeeper on Real Housewives of Dubai

Sara, Saba and Nina Ali come together, but Sara’s announcement is more important than Nina’s return. Her “maid has been shutting down the cameras in the house for the past six months and has brought several men” to her apartment. These men have also asked her maid for photos of Sara and her son. They also want information about Sara’s schedule, what the hell?!

In my head, I can picture myself masterfully dropkicking each and every one of these shady souls. Of course, my visions would fail in real life, but unlike me (thankfully), Sara lives in reality. She took a practical approach instead and called the police.

Sara’s next words awaken my ridiculous inner street fighter even more. This cleaning lady’s phone has pictures of Sara’s son. This cleaning slut sent these pictures to these men and these wankers wrote back, commenting on the appearance of her little son, asking who was picking up her son and when and how much money Sara had in the bank, and again: WHAT. THE. HELL?!

Sara fired her maid and now she is in prison. But when she went into her maid’s room while packing, she realized that her maid had stolen from her. Nina remarks, “She was probably planning to hold him for ransom.” Sara tells her that she is right and that she and her son are terrified.

Sara then reveals that her husband Akin asked her to cancel an upcoming podcast appearance because a hot guy was involved. To be fair, Sara asked Akin to cancel his shoot, but he refused, so now she’s rightfully upset. Saba and Nina don’t think Akin is the one.

A solid lunch, followed by Brooks’ polo match and a difficult challenge from Sergio

Stanbury and Lesa’s lunch arrives. Their argument in season 1 is recalled, backed up by a flashback from production in which Stanbury calls Lesa an escort. Lesa cries. She’s scared that people will believe this crap and blot her out of their social media.

Stanbury apologizes. It’s a happy ending.

Next comes Brooks’ polo match. The women (and their men) arrive in their best mismatched polo shirts.

Stanbury and Ayan sit down together. Stanbury apologizes again and notices the irony in her confession that she is always the stronger one in times of conflict. Nevertheless, it works out and their friendship is good again for the time being.

The game begins and Brooks judges her friends’ outfits. Lesa takes first place. Taleen comes second. Everyone cheers and goes home happy.

Stanbury’s birthday surprise ends this episode. Sergio blindfolds her and takes her to a yacht. It’s just the two of them. He gives her a cake version of her new house. He wins.

But Sergio wants a real victory in the form of a baby. He turns to Stanbury and asks, “Are we really going to have a baby or not?” Stanbury replies, “Not at the moment.” She then asks him if that’s a deal breaker, and it is, because Sergio sticks to his wish.

Stanbury now has to “rethink everything” as the credits of RHODubai Season 2, Episode 11 roll.

Season 2 of Real Housewives of Dubai continues every Tuesday at 9/8c on Bravo.
