A Vegas man and his partner had to be escorted off a plane at Miami International Airport when staff asked him to get off because he was having an incredibly bad hair day.

Eugenio Ernesto Hernandez-Garnier, 27, was arrested after flight crew on board the American Airlines flight noticed he was bleeding from his forehead.

According to his arrest report, obtained by Local10, he had a bloody bandage around his injured head. He appeared to be suffering from the side effects of a hair transplant.

According to Miami-Dade police, Hernandez-Garnier was asked to clean up the blood and change the bandages, but he told staff he did not have any spare bandages.

He was subsequently asked several times to leave the aircraft because the staff were concerned about his health and the contamination of his bodily fluids.

Officials said Hernandez-Garnier and his companion Yusleydis Blanca Loyola, 32, refused to leave, saying: “I“If you can’t fly, no one else can.”

The police arrived at the scene and asked the couple to leave, but they again refused.

The couple were then told that they would be arrested after being warned for trespassing, but they still refused to leave the plane.

The report continues: “After briefly resisting being handcuffed, they were subsequently arrested.”

After the arrest, the couple was taken to a medical facility to have the bleeding checked before being transported to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

A hair transplant is a cosmetic procedure in which hair taken from another part of the body (usually the back of the head or chest) is surgically transplanted into a thinning or bald area on the scalp.

Recovery from the transplant itself takes about two weeks, but about four months for the new hair to start growing.

As with any surgery, a hair transplant is not without risk and patients may experience bleeding, infection or an allergic reaction to the anesthetic.
