The Louis Vuitton Preliminary Regatta starts on 22 August in Barcelona and the Louis Vuitton Cup (Challenger Selection Series) follows (29 August-7 October), which is the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup game begins on October 12, 2024 and lasts two weeks.

The defending champions of the America’s Cup are Emirates Team New Zealand They represent the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron, but strong competition is trying to dethrone the team from Down Under. INEOS Britannia, the ‘Challenger of Record’ from the United Kingdom, are responsible for the Louis Vuitton Mug (Challenger Selection Series) to decide who will compete against Emirates Team New Zealand for the trophy.
