Saracen Casino builds hotel and event center for $250 million

Saracen Casino Resort in Pine Bluff announced Monday (August 19) that it will open a $250 million hotel and event center in fall 2025.

The 320-room, 37,000-square-foot hotel will also feature a 1,600-seat event center adjacent to the casino and offer additional overnight accommodations and meeting space near the entertainment complex.

“We love Arkansas, it is an important part of our ancient homeland. For the Quapaw Nation to return with something so large and visible is a source of great pride,” said Wena Supernaw, chair of the Quapaw Nation’s Economic Committee.

According to a Saracen press release, the Quapaw Nation has invested more than half a billion dollars in real estate in Arkansas.

“The two 300-foot cranes speak for themselves from miles away. We are excited and look forward to expanding our food and beverage offerings,” said Carlton Saffa, Chief Market Officer of Saracen.

Saracens Pine Bluff Casino offers 1,700 slot machines, 40 table games and a poker room. BetSaracen is the largest sportsbook in Arkansas. The casino resort is also home to the highly acclaimed Red Oak Steakhouse.

Saracen opened its casino in Pine Bluff in October 2020 after voters approved a constitutional amendment allowing the construction and licensing of a casino in Jefferson County.
