Legendary Entertainment has announced the development of a new series based on the Pacific Rim film franchise. The series will explore the origins of the universe in which humanity constructs giant mechanized warriors called Jaegers to fight monstrous creatures called Kaiju. Eric Heisserer, known for his work on “Shadow and Bone” and “Bird Box,” will direct the project. This series is part of a first-look deal between Heisserer’s production company Chronology and Legendary Entertainment.
