My Hero Academia is probably at its absolute peak in anime. The anime series is currently adapting the Final War Arc and is concluding the series with stunning animation. My Hero Academia is best during his fights and no fight was as good as Deku versus Shigaraki. By combining his quirks Fa Jin and Gearshift, he can generate enormous power seemingly out of nothing. He uses the two quirks together to develop the Overdrive ability and deliver a punch that exceeds his own limits: 120% Detroit Smash.

The animation during this fight was outstanding. The artist behind it is Hirota Kohei, a young animator who started his career by posting fanart of A piece And My Hero Academiaand made his professional debut in the staff of the A piece Anime while he was still a student. Kohei is famous for his use of lightning, and it really shows in this scene. While Deku uses his abilities, it is bathed in a prismatic hue of brilliance. As he flies towards Shigarki, he glows in all kinds of colors and his eyes emit an incredible blue-green light.
