The Black Crowes add more dates to their Happiness Bastards Tour after Aerosmith officially exits

The Black Crowes have announced an expansion of their tour dates in support of their latest studio album. Lucky bastards, this was her first new music since 2009 Before the frost … Until the freezeThe latest concert expansions come after Aerosmith canceled their farewell tour to make time for The Black Crowes, who had been hired to accompany the rock greats on tour this fall before the resulting change.

New dates have been interspersed with existing U.S. tour stops, resulting in an extended national tour beginning September 27. The first newly added performance is scheduled for Center Stage at MGM Northfield Park in Northfield, Ohio. From there, the ensemble will take over a previously announced date in Cincinnati before continuing on with a series of new performances.

Next up, the Black Crowes will head to Pikeville, Kentucky, for new stops on their schedule, opening regional dates in the South: Durham, North Carolina (October 10) and New Orleans (October 12). Next, they’ll take their live show to St. Louis (October 26) before moving on to Moon Township, Pennsylvania. Back in the middle of the country, the group will make another stop, this time in Oklahoma (November 7) before hitting the Lone Star State for three nights.

Another round of newly added dates takes the band to Salt Lake City (Nov. 19), followed by a night at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas a few weeks later. The Black Crowes round out the list with two nights at the Capitol Theater in Port Chester, NY. Along with the new dates, the band also announced a number of rescheduled performances, including in St. Augustine, Florida (Oct. 4), Milwaukee, Wisconsin (Oct. 19), Waukee, Iowa (Oct. 23) and Rockford, Illinois (Oct. 25).

Additionally, the band’s rescheduled concert dates also include Uncasville, Connecticut (Oct. 31), Rama, Ontario (Nov. 2), Albuquerque, New Mexico (Nov. 16), Wheatland, California (Nov. 30) and Oxon Hill, Maryland (Dec. 19). Commenting on the change, The Black Crowes wrote on Instagram: “Due to the cancellation of the Aerosmith tour, we have also had to reschedule some of the previously announced show dates and unfortunately have to cancel the shows in Tucson, Wanatchee and Verona.” Scroll down to see the band’s post.
