The Unholy Union retains the Women’s Tag Team Titles! The “new” Judgement Day is upon us

We’re back with another episode of Monday Night Raw! Let’s dive right into the action.

In the first part of the women’s action, Ivy is training Nile when she is approached by Chad Gable, Julius Creed and Brutus Creed. Gable welcomes her to the American Made team and acknowledges that Nile has given Maxxine Dupri a chance. Gable assures her that they are not done with the Wyatt Sicks yet.

Ivy Nile vs Maxxine Dupri

Maxxine Dupri entered the room with Otis and Akira Tozawa, but went to the ring alone. Ivy Nile also entered the room accompanied by Chad Gable and the Creed Brothers and then went to the ring alone.

The match started with Nile turning her back to Dupri, who took advantage by dropkicking Nile from behind. Dupri followed her to the ring, suplexed her, and even threw her over the announce table. Once she was back in the ring, however, Nile regained control with a kick and some hard punches.

Suddenly, the Wyatt Sicks’ eerie lighting began to dim and their entrance theme played. Nile turned around and saw Nikki Cross standing in the ring. Michael Cole finally identified Cross and said he believed she was Abby the Witch.

Gable and The Creeds joined Nile to help, but all of Wyatt Sicks came in, including Uncle Howdy. Cross took Nile down and the two eventually rolled out of the ring.

Rhea Ripley warned Damian Priest that his upcoming match with Dominik Mysterio was a trap. Priest admitted that it was indeed a trap, but said it was worth it to get his hands on Dom. Priest vowed that they would not stop until they reached a verdict on this “lame Judgement Day.”

Damian Priest entered the field for his scheduled match against Dominik Mysterio. However, before the match could begin, Carlito, JD McDonagh and Finn Bálor attempted to ambush Priest. Despite being outnumbered, Priest managed to fend them off by superkicking Carlito and JD while Bálor fled the scene.

In the ring, Rhea Ripley confronted Dominik, blew him a kiss and then headbutted him. Priest followed with a punch and the duo began to clear the announce table. Ripley made references to throwing Dominik through the table, but Liv Morgan intervened and attacked Ripley from behind with a steel chair.

The brawl escalated when Priest was beaten down in the ring by the four members of Judgment Day. Carlito hit Priest with a backstabber while Liv slammed Ripley into the ring post, announce table and steel steps. Liv continued her assault and eventually threw Ripley into the ring post.

With Priest out of action, Bálor hit him with a Coup de Grace and Morgan followed with Oblivion on Ripley. Dominik climbed to the top rope and hit Priest with a Frog Splash. The segment ended with Judgment Day standing tall over the fallen Priest and Ripley.

Triple threat for the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles

The main event featured a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles, pitting Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn against Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane and the team of Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark, who were accompanied by Sonya Deville.

The action started before the bell, with all six women brawling. The fight officially began when only Sane and Baszler were left in the ring. Early on, Sane and Sky performed dives against their opponents, after which there was a commercial break.

After the break, Sane tried her Insane Elbow on Baszler, but was countered with kicks to the gut. Baszler then went for her submission finisher, but Fyre got in the way just in time. Dawn performed a backstabber on Baszler, which kept Sane in the Kirifuda Clutch and allowed Fyre to land a Swanton Bomb on the pile of competitors. Fyre then covered Baszler and picked up the win.

Winner: The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn)

Last night saw a solid story being told, the tag match in particular was very good and action-packed. Maxxine showed great aggression in the match, but the main talking point of the segment was that Nikki Cross seems to have found her first victim in her new role as Sister Abigail. The Liv/Rhea storyline remains a central point throughout the show and adds more depth to the upcoming mixed tag match at Bash in Berlin.
