Syracuse, NY — Syracuse football head coach Fran Brown grinned a little when asked Monday who might spring a surprise at the end of the Orange’s training camp.

“Kyle McCord and LeQuint Allen,” Brown said of two players who are hardly overshadowed as his starting quarterback and running back. “I think they’re going to be pretty good.”

Brown chimed in and highlighted a few younger players who stood out in a recent scrimmage and during training camp that we should keep an eye on.
