Dancing mothers Former student Brooke Hyland is dancing full of energy into her upcoming wedding!
The 26-year-old reality TV star hosted an engagement party at the Puttery mini golf course in Pittsburgh on Saturday, August 17, to celebrate her upcoming nuptials to fiancé Brian Thalman.

Some of her former costars were in attendance at the fun event, including Kendall Vertes, Jill Vertes, Chloe Lukasiak, Christi Lukasiak and Melissa Gisoni, as well as Hyland’s sister Paige and her mother Kelly.
The theme of the evening was “Tini found her Thalman,” a reference to Hyland’s short stature and love of martinis. The couple and their guests enjoyed a few rounds of golf as well as light snacks, desserts and several photo opportunities.
Hyland and Thalman are expected to begin planning their special day following the festivities.

The couple announced their engagement to PEOPLE in May, revealing that Thalman’s surprise proposal took place in Frick Park in Pittsburgh, the dancer’s hometown, surrounded by close family.

After the proposal, the couple and their loved ones celebrated with a brunch.

Thalman said they met through Hyland’s cousin when the dancer lived in Austin, Texas. Their long-distance relationship began before Hyland moved back to the area. Now they have been together for nearly three years and have a dog named Jack.

Hyland shared her Dancing mothers Her family’s reaction to her engagement with a sweet TikTok video. Gisoni was the first to appear in the video, and she covered her mouth in shock while becoming visibly emotional when Hyland showed off her ring.
Melissa’s daughters were next. Maddie Ziegler showed the phone to her sister Mackenzie Ziegler, who looked surprised to see Hyland’s ring. Maddie then turned back to the camera and also seemed shocked by the news.

Hyland reunited with her former Dancing mothers co-stars in a special reunion airing in May 2024.
The show’s official Instagram account revealed the reunion news with a post that read, “You heard it here first. The squad is officially back together for a #DanceMoms reunion in 2024 exclusively on @lifetimetv!!”
