What we know so far about the TV show “Fourth Wing”

First Jeff Bezos wanted the hobbits, now he has come for the dragons. After spending more than a year New York Times Bestseller list, Rebecca Yarros’ fantasy sensation, Fourth wing– in which the main characters ride dragons and support each other – is being adapted by Amazon into a highly acclaimed Prime Video television adaptation.
If you’re new to the adventures of Violet Sorrengail and her angry but muscular boyfriend Xaden, here’s a quick rundown of what the TV series is about: In Yarros’ universe, there are dragons, and those dragons meet their riders at an elite school called Basgiath War College. There, Violet – small, underestimated, and suffering from a chronic illness similar to Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome – forgoes her supposedly quiet life as a scribe for the chance to fight alongside other riders and bond with not one but two dragons. She also meets the traitorous (read: hot) Xaden Riorson, a wing leader who already has a bond with the dragon Sgaeyl, who helps her train for the Dragonback and for the war that threatens her homeland of Navarre.
But how closely Bezos and co. will stick to the beloved (or hated, depending on who you ask) template remains to be seen. The most pressing question, in my opinion, is: Who will lend their voice to my favorite character, Violet’s cheeky dragon Tairn? (And yes, the dragons can talk! Sort of!)
