Just Add Power, the AV-over-IP distribution company, has announced that it will be holding its annual guitar giveaway at booth #3333. The giveaway was created eight years ago to raise the company’s awareness of guitars4vets.org (G4V). Guitars for Vets is a nonprofit organization that provides assistance to veterans in need through the healing power of music and community. This year, the company will donate six Epiphone acoustic guitars to the program. During the show, attendees can enter a drawing to win one of three very special electric guitars.

“At Just Add Power, two things are right: we rock AV-over-IP, and our mission is to rock community engagement in a way that excites everyone,” says Taft Stricklin, Chief Sales Officer at Just Add Power. “Guitars for Vets has a great mission to help bring the joy of music into the lives of our veterans. Our raffle is our small way of getting our customers involved in this movement.”

Impact of G4V

Founded in 2007, G4V donates guitars to veterans. The organization uses music as a medium to help them readjust to life after military service and deal with the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). According to a statement, G4V currently operates more than 80 branches in 40 states across the U.S. They are also supported by more than 200 volunteers nationwide.

According to a statement, Just Add Power will be giving away three guitars daily at 3:00 p.m. MT. CEDIA Expo attendees can register at the booth for a chance to win a Jackson Monarkh guitar, an ESP LTD EC-256FM electric guitar or a Fender Player Stratocaster. To win, attendees must be in person at the Just Add Power booth when their name is called.

CEDIA Expo 2024 will be held in conjunction with Commercial Integrator Expo from September 5-7, 2024 in Denver, Colorado.
