Editor’s Note: An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that there are no theme dances at the Boat Slip on Fridays. This is not correct. Fridays are when the Dog Tag Teas take place.

It’s day 2 of Provincetown Carnival Week. Today’s program includes three brunches and a cruise.

The 2024 theme week, “Renaissance x Revolution,” will take place August 17-24. The tip of Cape Cod is expected to be full of rainbows, feathers, big hairstyles, and plenty of costumes with nods to Marie Antoinette and Beyoncé.

In addition to the highly anticipated parade down Commercial Street on August 22nd (no beads!), there are pool parties, dance parties, drag queens, dress-up opportunities and a boat cruise throughout the week, to name just a few of the festive summer activities.

We provide you with an up-to-date list of activities for each day of Carnival.
