The talk about Street 2 is real, and if you have seen the film, you will know why! The film is on everyone’s lips, but one character in particular has terrified and fascinated audiences – the headless antagonist Sarkata, who wreaks havoc in the town of Chanderi. The man behind this monstrous figure is none other than Sunil Kumar, a 7-foot-tall wrestler from Jammu, also known as ‘The Great Angaar’.

Sunil Kumar is not only a prominent figure in the wrestling world; he is also a dedicated police officer with the Jammu and Kashmir Police. His intimidating height and impressive physique earned him the nickname “The Great Khali of Jammu,” but his ambitions don’t stop there. Kumar dreams of representing India at the WWE Championship, and he has already made waves when he took part in a WWE tryout in 2019.

The filmmakers of Stree 2 couldn’t have chosen a better person to bring Sarkata to life. Director Amar Kaushik revealed that Kumar’s imposing stature made him perfect for the role. While Kumar’s massive physique was used for the full-body shots, Sarkata’s haunting face was brought to life using CGI.

When he is not scaring the audience on screen, Kumar is busy serving the people of Jammu and Kashmir as a police officer. He is also a sports fanatic who loves handball and volleyball. Born on December 16, 1990, Kumar is 5 inches taller than legendary wrestler The Great Khali (Dalip Singh Rana), making him one of the tallest personalities in Indian wrestling today.

Stree 2 is not only a horror film, but also a huge box office success. With outstanding performances by Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar RaoPankaj Tripathi and others, the film has already collected Rs 242.40 crore in just five days. The film is on track to become the highest-grossing Hindi film of the year and Sarkata’s menacing presence is definitely a big part of this success.
