Rutherford County stable owner charged with multiple sex crimes and rape of teenage girl, released on bail

A Rutherford County man accused of sexually abusing young girls is now free on bail.

This comes after a judge last week denied a bail reduction for the former teacher and stable owner. Jason Lancaster was released Monday morning on $1,020,000 bail.

Lancaster must now wear a GPS device and cover all associated costs himself. In addition, a document states that he cannot be released from custody until a GPS device is fitted.

FOX 17 News also confirmed that Lancaster had sold his Christiana property, which was owned by Pinnacle Stables, the operation at the center of the animal cruelty charges.

The remaining horses from the operation went to the same equine rehabilitation center, Premier Equine Rehabilitation, as the horses previously seized from his property.

Lancaster faces a long list of sexual assault charges, including rape by an authority figure, sexual abuse by an authority figure, stalking and bribery.
