TCU said Sedona Prince’s status in women’s basketball remains “intact”

Updated on August 19:

Braden Johnson of TCU’s athletics department said the university declined to provide an official comment on Sedona Prince.

Prince’s status on the team remains unchanged, he said.

A petition on Change.org calls on TCU to remove power forward Sedona Prince from the women’s basketball team.

The petition, which has garnered 164,000 signatures, was created on August 14 after Prince’s ex-girlfriend made detailed allegations of abuse on TikTok.

Olivia Stabile, who has 730,000 followers on TikTok, uploaded a 10-part video series on August 14 recapping a trip to Mexico they took for Prince’s birthday, each video garnering millions of views.

Stabile said Prince pushed her off an ATV and left her in the jungle outside her resort in Mexico.

Stabile also said that after Prince returned with the ATV, she flipped it on its side and pushed Stabile as she tried to help her.

Prince has since disabled commenting on her Instagram, but TMZ’s coverage of the fallout from Stabile’s video included a screenshot of Prince’s Instagram.

Braden Johnson of TCU’s athletics department said the university declined to provide official comment on the matter and Prince’s status on the team remains unchanged.

This is an evolving story.
