Kaylor Martin kept her promise and stood with Aaron Evans during the Love Island USA See you on Monday, August 19th.

The cast of the 6th season of Love Island USA gathered last week to talk about their time on the show, starting with the four couples who made it to the finals. Winners Serena Page and Kordell Beckham shared that they are now officially boyfriend and girlfriend, as did runners-up Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi and JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez. Fourth-place finishers Nicole Jacky and Kendall Washington also said they are “still together” but have overcome some obstacles.

However, host Ariana Madix did not reveal Kaylor and Aaron’s relationship status until later in the episode, as their relationship is obviously difficult.

Aaron spoke first and immediately shocked Kaylor with one final revelation about his time at Casa Amor with Daniela Ortiz Rivera.

“I lied directly to Kaylor,” he began. “I didn’t tell her the whole truth. I put my hands down Daniela’s pants. I kissed her, I made out with her. We had lots of romantic connections.”

“What?!” Kaylor interjected before snapping at her former boyfriend. “Why didn’t you tell me that two days ago when I asked you in our hotel room? Why? Then be honest with me and look me in the eye when you say that.”

She continued, “I’m sick of these damn excuses. Take responsibility and be a man. I’ve seen you in New York for the last three damn days and you haven’t said that to me once. Why would you do that? Why do you keep fucking lying to me? And stop bombarding me with declarations of love!”

Continuing, she quoted Taylor Swift’s song “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” (“I just wanna know if the goal was to let my sparkly summer rust”) and said, “I just can’t believe I wasted my whole damn summer on you, Aaron.”

“I don’t want anything to do with you,” Kaylor concluded. “I never want to talk to you again. You’re disgusting. And I don’t deserve that. And you know what? I walked into the villa so confident and you trashed me, trashed me, trashed me and I left as a different girl. That’s not cool and it’s not fun. Leave me alone. You don’t deserve me. Not at all. You’re disgusting.”

Kaylor revealed that she and Aaron had split just days before the reunion was taped, saying in a TikTok video that the couple was “done.”

“Aaron and I are not well,” she added.

Two days later, on August 16, during an appearance at 92NY in New York City, she declared that she was ready to put the whirlwind romance behind her.

“Listen, I’m very lucky. I’m 22 years old, I’m going to experience heartbreak, fall in love – all of that,” she told presenter and influencer Remi Bader. “I know we’ve all been through that maybe once or twice, and I’m glad I went through it and learned from this situation. And I’m single!”

During the same panel, fellow cast member JaNa Craig praised Kaylor for staying strong despite all the reunion drama.

“One of the three most important things for me at the meeting was that Kaylor owned up to his actions,” JaNa told the crowd.

“Guys, you would be very proud,” Kaylor chimed in. “I didn’t shed a single tear.”

Things fell apart for the couple during the Casa Amor portion of the series, where Aaron had an affair with contestant Daniela Ortiz Rivera, despite being with Kaylor for most of the season. After seeing the scenes for the first time, Kaylor confessed during a July 31 interview on Best friends Podcast that she wanted to take things “really slow.”

“I don’t want to end things because I know what Aaron and I had was true and real, but I feel like I just gave him chance after chance,” she said. “And it wasn’t even just the Casa (Amor) thing, it was more him not taking responsibility like Kordell (Beckham) did that really hurt.”

She continued, “I don’t want to give up on us, but I definitely have my doubts and I told Aaron the other day that I have trust issues now and I don’t want to be that toxic person in this relationship.”

At 92NY, Kaylor insisted that while she loved Aaron, she knew the relationship was not healthy.

“I realise my damn worth,” she said. “Because when you’re in the villa, you’re in a little bubble. That’s not normal. It was very hard for me to be there. And I fell in love and what you saw was very real.”
