Layer Group takes over InDoor Floor & Wall Sweden

Layer Group has completed the acquisition of InDoor Floor & Wall Sweden, a Kristinehamn-based company, for an undisclosed amount.

InDoor Floor & Wall Sweden specializes in laying tiles and floor coverings, new construction, renovations and insurance-related repairs.

The move is part of Layer Group’s expansion in the Swedish regions of Dalarna and Värmland.

The acquisition is expected to create synergies with existing companies such as Krafft Måleri, Willéns Måleri and Färg & Co, which operate in the surrounding areas of Örebro, Arvika and Eda.

InDoor Floor & Wall Sweden’s profitability and entrepreneurial spirit are said to be in line with Layer Group’s acquisition strategy.

The deal also gives InDoor Floor & Wall Sweden access to a larger network of entrepreneurs within the group.

John Strand, CEO of Layer Group, said: “We are very pleased to welcome InDoor Floor & Wall Sweden to the Layer Group family. They have an interesting customer portfolio and services that complement our nearby operations.

“It’s important to us that their established brand continues, but now they have the opportunity to grow under our umbrella, just like our other companies.”

The support from Layer Group is intended to provide InDoor Floor & Wall Sweden with the necessary resources to advance the next phase of development.

Conny Lundstedt, founder of InDoor Floor & Wall Sweden, said: “It is a great feeling to be part of such a large group as Layer and we look forward to collaborating with other companies in the group. We are convinced that this will also increase the safety of our employees.”

Last month, Mästarna Vision, a Layer Group company, acquired Granlunds Måleri, expanding its operations in the country’s Sundsvall region.

“Layer Group acquires InDoor Floor & Wall Sweden” was originally created and published by World Construction Network, a GlobalData brand.
