HBO’s new Chimpanzee crazy The series has officially been released and fans are looking forward to the release dates of future episodes.

Chimpanzee crazy revolves around former nurse Tonia Haddix, who changed careers and became an exotic animal broker with a particular fondness for chimpanzees.

This gets her into serious trouble with animal welfare groups, as the series addresses her bond with these animals and the risks people take when keeping them as pets.

Release dates for episodes of “Chimp Crazy” confirmed

HBO released a press release announcing the schedule for the new Chimpanzee crazy Documentary series that airs on HBO before moving to streaming on Max.

Episode 1 is already streaming on Max and the next three episodes will all air on HBO the next three Sunday nights at 10pm ET/PT.

• Episode 1 – “Monkey Love”: Sunday, August 18
• Episode 2 – “Gone Ape”: Sunday, August 25
• Episode 3 – “Headshot”: Sunday, September 1st
• Episode 4 – “Fantasy Island”: Sunday, September 8

What will happen in Chimp Crazy?

Developed by the same crew that created 2020’s highly controversial Tiger King Series, Chimpanzee crazy shows a woman who truly loves chimpanzees, albeit to a somewhat disturbing extent.

In the trailer for the show, Haddix was seen caring for over half a dozen chimpanzees in her own private enclosure, raising them as her own pets with no intention of giving them away to anyone. This all takes place at the Missouri Primate Foundation in Festus, Missouri.

Upcoming episodes will feature Haddix’s bitter battle with PETA as it launches an investigation into Tonka, a former Hollywood actor and chimpanzee who has gone missing. It gets especially hairy when you look at previous similar investigations, as a chimpanzee nearly killed another woman in a similar incident.

Fans will also see X2 Star Alan Cumming will be involved in the coming weeks as he has a special relationship with Tonka and will later offer a reward for finding the chimpanzee.

Chimpanzee crazy promises to be an emotionally charged adventure as it focuses on Maddix’s way of life and offers a unique insight into the safety and care of animals.

New episodes of Chimpanzee crazy Premieres Sunday night at 10pm ET/PT before streaming on Max.
