14-year-old girl is caught posing as a doctor at Serdang Hospital and has to undergo a psychiatric examination

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 10 – The 14-year-old girl who was arrested for posing as a doctor at Sultan Idris Shah Hospital in Serdang will soon undergo a psychiatric examination, police said.

Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan was quoted as saying that an initial investigation found that the girl’s behaviour was due to a disturbed mental state.

“There is no motive and she will be referred to a specialist hospital for psychiatric evaluation.

“The girl will be released on bail today after the expiration of her pre-trial detention while the investigation files are being finalized,” he was quoted as saying. Sinar Harian.

Yesterday, a 14-year-old was arrested on suspicion of trespassing and usurping authority at the Sultan Idris Shah Hospital in Serdang and remanded in custody for two days until today.

Judge Muhammad Bukhori Md Ruslan issued the remand warrant under sections 448 and 170 of the Penal Code, which relate to trespass and usurpation of authority.

If convicted, the offence of trespassing can be punished with a term of imprisonment of up to three years or a fine of up to 5,000 RM, or both. In the case of usurpation of office, the punishment can be a term of imprisonment of up to two years, a fine, or both.

Earlier, Sepang Police Chief Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof confirmed that a 14-year-old suspect was arrested yesterday in the foyer of Sultan Idris Shah Hospital in Serdang for posing as a doctor.

The police also confiscated gowns and a hospital band.

Initial investigations revealed that the suspect had entered the hospital’s operating room, posed as a doctor and offered to help perform operations.
