CHILE. Global travel restaurateur Areas has partnered with leading Chilean fast-food restaurant brand Dominó to open a second franchise location at Santiago Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport.

At 715 square metres, the landside area of ​​the international terminal is almost three times the size of the existing Dominó restaurant (255 square metres), which opened nine months ago in the domestic terminal.

Areas is currently implementing an extensive food and beverage program at Arturo Merino Benítez Airport, which will see the opening of 15 food and beverage outlets by December 2025.

In addition to Dominó, these include the Chilean brands Emporio La Rosa, Fuente Chilena, Le Fournil and Las Cabras, the international brands Carls Jr, Eric Kayser, La Cabrera Al Paso and Bonafide as well as the own brands Deli&Cia, Farine, Loyola and Anka.

Speaking to the Moodie Davitt Report about the new opening, Óscar Cocera, Country Manager of Areas Chile, explained that his company is the very first to be entrusted with a franchise agreement by Dominó.
