Kesha’s name was added back to the music video “Timber”.

According to Pitbull’s online statement, it appears that someone on his team attempted to add Kesha’s name back into the music video. At the time of writing, Kesha’s name now appears in the title of the music video and reads “Pitbull, Ke$ha – Timber (featuring Ke$ha (Official Video)).” However, when searching for the music video “Timber,” the result in the search feed is “Pitbull – Timber (Official Video).”

It will likely take some time for the title change to appear in YouTube’s search function, which explains this change, although it’s still not entirely clear why Kesha’s name was removed in the first place.

Kesha’s long-running legal battle with her former producer Dr. Luke was finally settled out of court. Her latest single, “Joyride,” is the first song she has released since the legal proceedings were officially dismissed.
