A few weeks ago, “Nobody Wants to Die”, the debut game from Polish studio Critical Hit Games, was released.

As expected, it was not a best-seller, but thanks to the excellent visual design and interesting plot, the detective novel received high marks from critics and was warmly received by players.

To commemorate the success of Nobody Wants to Die, publisher PLAION released a eulogy trailer that collected a number of eloquent, laudatory statements from critics and journalists.

Nobody Wants to Die is a thriller set in the distant future, in the year 2329 in New York City. The plot of the game tells of a world where humanity has learned to transfer the consciousness of people into another body after their death, but this service is only available to those who pay for a permanent subscription. A serial killer targeting New York City’s elite appears in the city and Detective James Karra and his partner Sara Kai try to find him.

The player has numerous high-tech devices at his disposal, the most important of which is a glove that allows him to figuratively travel back in time and find out what happened in a certain place.

“Nobody Wants to Die” is available for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
