NASCAR playoff standings and Cup points updated after Tyler Reddick’s win in Michigan

Mother Nature had her way with the NASCAR Cup Series on Sunday at Michigan International Speedway, but that just meant racing fans around the world had a much more exciting start to the week on Monday.

With his second win of the season Tyler Reddick was able to reach Victory Lane at the end of the FireKeepers Casino 400. It was not without drama, because a Martin Truex Jr. Accident brought the race into overtime, but Reddick was able to William Byron And Ty Gibbs in check during the last reboots.

Should Reddick get more than two wins this season? Probably, but he’s now one of six drivers with multiple wins in 2024. That’s an accomplishment in itself. Check out where the No. 45 driver and the rest of the field stand after Michigan on Monday.

With the win, Reddick catapulted himself into fifth place in the playoff standings, ahead of Ryan Blaney, who also has two wins this season. As for the bubble, Ross Chastain is just one point ahead of Reddick’s teammate Bubba Wallace, with two races remaining until the playoffs and anything can happen in Daytona and Darlington.

Updated NASCAR Cup standings after Michigan

The NASCAR Cup Series point standings will be updated once the results are officially announced.

As you can see, Tyler Reddick has re-established himself as a contender for the Cup Series title with his victory in the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Raceway. The race left something to be desired for some, as Kyle Larson, Ross Chastain And Bubba Wallacebut the latter two will have their chance to secure their place in the playoffs in the next two weeks.
