When is The Circle season 7 coming out? Everything we know so far

The seventh season of Netflix’s social media-based reality series The Circle is just around the corner and viewers don’t have to wait long for its debut. The streaming giant had already officially announced the show’s return earlier and has now also announced the release date.

The Circle returns with a new season, calling on all influencers and fans to watch as they battle their way to the top of the power rankings. The ultimate strategy and social media game was developed by Studio Lambert and Motion Content Group and is hosted by comedian Michelle Buteau.

According to Netflix TUDUM, the upcoming season 7 of The Circle is set to premiere on September 11. The first four episodes of the season will air starting September 11, with the remaining three weeks dedicated to the release of the remaining episodes. And the final episode of The Circle season 7 will air on October 2.

The Circle is a unique reality show that focuses on online social interactions rather than dating, setting it apart from other non-dating reality shows. Contestants live in separate apartments and try to gain influence by making friends, making out, and even assuming different identities. In this game based on strategy and deception, there is only one winner after a series of progressive eliminations.

And if you thought last season’s AI reveal was a surprise, you’re far from shocked. A new group of competitors vying for a huge cash prize and the title of Most Influential Player will find chaos awaiting them. As usual, they’re free to choose to play as themselves or someone else. But in this game, the only person you can trust is yourself, no matter who you are.

Instead of the series’ usual filming location in Manchester, England, seasons 6 and 7 of The Circle were filmed in Atlanta, Georgia. The move to the USA gives the series a new aspect. In the trailer for the upcoming season, Buteau speaks of “the ultimate game of social media, strategy and gameplay.”

“We’re in for more shocks and twists than ever before. And this time, everything is going to get really mixed up,” she continues, describing the season as “the most brutal season yet.”

The sixth season of “The Circle,” hosted by “Survival of the Thickest” star Buteau, premiered on Netflix on April 17, and the final episode aired on May 8. Throughout the season, Brandon Baker, posing as Olivia, a friend from home, wooed the other contestants and used sly tactics to win the $100,000 prize. Baker followed season 2 star DeLeesa St. Agathe, who claimed to be her husband Trevor, as the second catfish to win it all.
