The last episode of Shoshimin: How To Become Ordinary revolved entirely around Jogoro Kobato and Yuki Osanai, and showed Jogoro buying sweets from a list of shops that Yuki wanted to visit. Although Jogoro is not a sweet tooth, he liked the charlotte pastries so much that he tried to deceive Yuki after eating more than he should.
However, Yuki quickly noticed the discrepancy and explained that his punishment would be that he would have to accompany her to any store she wanted to visit in the future. More of the duo’s escapades will be revealed in Shoshimin Episode 7, so don’t miss the episode when it drops.

Shoshimin Episode 7: Release Date and Where to Stream
Shoshimin Episode 7 is scheduled to air on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 06:30 JST. For viewers worldwide, this means a daytime release on August 24, with the time adjusted to regional time zones. In Japan, the show will air on TV Asahi and its partners, including BS Asahi, and will be shown in NUMAnimation’s time slot.
Terrestrial television in Japan will offer an exclusive pre-broadcast via ABEMA. For international fans, the episode will be broadcast simultaneously on Crunchyroll. In addition, Shoshimin Episode 7 will be available on Medialink’s YouTube channel, Ani-One, as well as on Aniplus TV.
Expected plot in Shoshimin Episode 7
Shoshimin Episode 7 continues the “Case of the Summer Exclusive Tropical Parfait” storyline started in the previous episode and follows the plot of the second volume of the series. This episode is expected to reveal more about Yuki’s deep passion for sweets, which has been evident from the beginning of the series.
The focus will likely be on her and Jogoro’s visits to various cake shops, emphasizing their goal of experiencing life as “normal” people. The intriguing relationship between Yuki and Jogoro will also be further explored, with new characters possibly introduced in Shoshimin Episode 7 as well.
Shoshimin Episode 6 Summary
Shoshimin episode 6 is titled “But I Get to Keep Charlotte” and begins with Jogoro walking through a lively festival where he encounters Yuki, who is dressed in traditional clothing. The pair spend the day enjoying the festival and indulging in the various sights and treats like normal people.
Then the scene changes to the next day, where Yuki is standing at Jogoro’s door. She hands him a map on which all the candy shops she plans to visit during the summer are carefully marked.
Later, Jogoro is seen riding his bike, sweating, when he receives a text message from Yuki with a list of candies he should buy at a certain store since she is stuck at home due to an emergency. Jogoro delivers the candies in Shoshimin episode 6.
While Yuki is on the phone, he can’t resist eating one of the Charlotte pastries. Jogoro comes up with a plan to make it look like he didn’t eat one and quickly eats a second Charlotte pastry. When Yuki returns, she notices the missing pastry and realizes Jogoro’s deception from the napkins used.
Shoshimin Episode 6 ends with her telling him that his “punishment” would be to accompany her on her pastry shop tour.
