Strictly’s Bobby Brazier has an Italian dance dream

Bobby Brazier dreams of moving to Italy later.

The EastEnders actor came second on last year’s Strictly Come Dancing, but even before his exploits on the BBC Latin and ballroom dancing series, he dreamed of dancing through the streets of Italy with the “love of his life” once the couple were “old and wrinkly”.

He told the London Evening Standard newspaper: “Even before ‘Strictly’ I always had this dream of moving away with the love of my life, maybe to Italy or somewhere. And we’re both old and wrinkly and ballroom dancing up and down the streets – not very well because we can’t move, but you know, at least we’re in a kind of holding pattern.”

Bobby, who was previously romantically linked to his Strictly co-star and former Coronation Street actress Ellie Leach, is currently keeping quiet about who, if anyone, he is dating, admitting he finds it “funny” when people ask him.

About his love life, he said: “I just imagine that people don’t really care.

“I mean, I’m sure people don’t care, or they understand that you have to take things with a pinch of salt. But I find it funny.”

Bobby, who plays Freddie Slater in EastEnders, not only dreams of flying to Italy to dance and live later, but also wants to focus on improving his acting skills in the near future.

He said, “There is a skill to learn that I like.

“It’s a real challenge and I feel like you never really stop learning. I want to be good – I want to be good at what I do.

“I want to continue learning, continue progressing and continue seizing opportunities.”
