Designed by Officina Italiana Design and the Product Strategy Committee and Technical Department of the Ferretti Group, this 56-foot masterpiece features large glazed windows, flush portholes and an elegant aquamarine line that highlights its striking metallic exterior. A unique windscreen not only protects the cockpit but also completes the yacht’s aerodynamic profile. The lounge on the main cockpit deck offers a spacious seating area with an L-shaped sofa and a teak dining table. This convivial space extends fore and aft, creating a seamless transition of elegance and comfort: a large aft-facing sunbed and a raised dormeuse forward, shaded by an electro-hydraulically operated bimini top and framed by a stainless steel and vintage-look warning horn.

Top performance at sea

The bridge is equipped with state-of-the-art control, monitoring and navigation systems with touchscreen displays. Behind the control station, a well-equipped cabin unit offers everything guests need, with a bar, convenient waste bins and storage compartments integrated into the helm seat. From here, the captain controls either the twin 1000hp or 1200hp MAN engines with V-Drive propulsion systems. This propels the yacht to cruising speeds of 31 or 34 knots and top speeds of 35 or 38 knots – depending on the engine chosen – and displays outstanding design and performance.

At the stern, the garage houses a Williams 325 tender, protected by a double-skin carbon fiber speedometer. A major innovation on the 56′ Rivale is the underwater movement of the bathing platform, with additional steps in the hull providing a convenient staircase for access to the water.

Luxury lounges and cabins below deck

Below deck, guests will find an elegant living-dining area, where mirrored surfaces alternate with lacquered mahogany, dark lacquered wood and dark leather upholstery. The interplay of colours and materials is typical Riva, with sofas and ottomans upholstered in fabric by Ivano Redaelli and carpeting by Van Besouw. The gallery, partially concealed by mirrored walls and sliding lacquered surfaces, offers ample storage space and a unit with a bar set.

Sleeping quarters include two en-suite cabins that echo the lounge’s luxurious play of colours and materials. Striking contrasts between white leather headboards and dark leather furniture create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Upholstered furniture by Ivano Redaelli and Van Besouw contribute to this opulent ambience. A single-bed crew cabin with separate access from the cockpit can be replaced by a third guest cabin if desired. The result is a home away from home on the open sea.
