The episode had an epic event scene that led to Pierre’s big comeback, which was a great scene and had some consequences for Emily’s career and relationships. Privately, Emily considered a long-distance relationship with Alfie, while at the same time realizing that she could no longer hide her feelings for Gabriel. However, when Emily wanted to confess, she found that Camille had already broken her finger promise and beat her to it. This was an excellent season finale, showing Emily caught between Sylvie and Madeline and Alfie and Gabriel..

Emily catching Camille with Sofia certainly created tension, as did Mindy’s breakup with Benoit. And then there was the wonderful twist of Emily being added to the list. Season 3 did a great job of integrating Mindy into Emily’s work life by reuniting Mindy with her former classmate Nicholas.who became one of Emily’s clients. This episode ignited the spark.

Some of the best moments of Emily in Paris took place on Camille’s family estate in Champagne. There’s just something about the dreamy, secluded setting, coupled with just enough isolation to bring the characters together in moments of high drama. The episode featured an awkward date between Emily and Alfie, involving a jealous Gabriel, before Emily ended up back in Champagne.

Somehow it always becomes uncomfortable for Emily when she goes to Champagne, and this was no exceptionin which Camille and her mother develop a strategy against Emily. Combined with an unfortunate and somewhat comical injury to Camille’s father and Camille and Gabriel finding each other again, this makes for a wonderfully dramatic episode.

It was the culmination of many storylines, including Emily’s quest to help Gabriel get a Michelin star, Mindy and Nicholas’ conflict over Emily, and Mindy’s past relationship with Benoit.

The real highlight of the episode was definitely Gabriel and Camille’s absolutely wild engagement party, which turned into a spontaneous wedding. Several bombshells were dropped: that Camille and Emily had made the pact, that Gabriel and Emily loved each other, and that Alfie dumped Emily but Camille was pregnant. This episode was very entertaining and full of drama and romance, rounded off by the beautiful setting of Camille’s family home..

1 “Ex-en-Provence”

Season 3, Episode 6 (2022)

The best episode of Emily in Paris is season 3, episode 6, “Ex-en-Provence”. This episode is Emily in Paris at its finest: all the characters in a beautiful setting, crammed together in such a small space that they have to start dealing with all the feelings that live beneath the surface. It also really highlighted the dreamier romantic aspects of the show and the romantic one-on-one scenes.

The slowly budding romance between Emily and Gabriel is at its peak, absolutely annoying and hurting everyone around them. But at their best, they really get along and fit together very well as a couple. This was most evident during the meal they shared in this episode. It was also great to see Emily save the day with her idea for Antoine’s perfume.
