New flooring store opens in former Kenilworth Carpets showroom | Local News | News | Kenilworth Nub News

A new flooring store has opened in Kenilworth, taking over the site of the former Kenilworth Carpets showroom.

Bridgeworks Flooring, a provider of carpet and hard flooring delivery and installation services to the residents of Kenilworth and the surrounding area, has opened a branch at Bridge Works.

The site on Farmer Ward Road has been home to many companies over the past three decades, two of which have been located there for over 30 years.

One of the longest established businesses at this address, Kenilworth Upholstery Ltd (bays one and two), has survived two major floods and the global pandemic since its establishment in 1966, but remains going strong.

Today the company has one of the most extensive furniture refurbishment portfolios and the largest selection of upholstery and curtain fabrics in Warwickshire.

The company recently expanded its services to include sister company Bridgeworks Flooring, which offers a “comprehensive supply and installation service for high-quality luxury carpets and hard flooring” for Kenilworth and the surrounding area.

Gary Warren, Director of Kenilworth Upholstery Ltd, said: “After the previous carpet company at Bridge Works closed, customer interest remained and there were many telephone enquiries and on-foot visits to the closed premises.”

“It seemed like a logical step to meet the needs of local residents.”
