LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – For the fifth time in their history and for the second year in a row, the Henderson Cup will be played at Lubbock Christian High School, home of the Eagles!

The trophy is awarded to the TAPPS school that has earned the most points through athletics, education and fine arts competitions at the state level.

Lubbock Christian School collected a total of 88 points, with second place going to Rosehill Christian School with 76.5 points.

• Second at state level (boys basketball)
• Second at national level (football)
• Second at state level (boys’ athletics)
• Second place at the state level (girls golf)
• Second place in state (softball)
• 3rd in the state (girls’ athletics)

LCS Academics and Fine Arts (20 points)

• State Champion (Band)
• All-American Team (cheering)
• 5. in the State (one-act play)
• 6. in the state (chorus)
• Numerous 1st to 8th places at state level in various categories (art)
