Pitbull reacts to Kesha’s removal from the “Timber” video

Hell hath no fury like that of a pop star spurned. Kesha fans are leading the latest backlash online. Supporters of the “Tik Tok” singer noticed that Kesha’s name was mysteriously removed from one of her biggest collaborations and sprang into action.

Yesterday (August 18), Kesha’s name disappeared from the title of Pitbull’s song “Timber” on YouTube. Shortly after, people on Reddit speculated about what led to the video title change, but Pitbull took to his X page (formerly Twitter) to nip any rumors of a feud in the bud.

Having recently acquired the naming rights to Florida International University’s stadium, Pitbull knows how important naming is.

Screenshots from Pop Desire (visible Here), Pitbull wrote: “Kesha and I have an incredible song together. That will not change. Team Pitbull is investigating. Always love for Kesha. Dale!”

Online users expressed negative opinions about the technology mix.

“I’m glad Pitbull is standing up for Kesha,” wrote A user.

“The same situation happened with ‘Taki Taki’, they removed Selena’s name. I think it’s just a mistake.” written another.

“I don’t know why anyone doubted Pitbull. He doesn’t like drama around his brand. Love, light and a rocking butt.” joked another.

The RIAA diamond-certified record was released in 2013 and was featured on Pitbull’s album. MeltdownTo date (August 18), the official video has been viewed 1.5 billion times on YouTube.
