Leicester City will pay £20 million plus a further £5 million in add-ons for Tottenham midfielder Oliver Skipp.
Tottenham were reluctant to let go of the 23-year-old skipper because they wanted to comply with the Premier League’s rules for home-grown players.
New Leicester head coach Steve Cooper is keen to sign Skipp to expand his options in midfield.
Leicester returns to the Premier League on Monday evening when they host Tottenham.
Skipp, who made his first-team debut in 2018, has made 106 appearances for Tottenham.

The former England U21 international was on loan to Norwich in the 2020–21 season.
So far this transfer window, Leicester have signed Bobby Decordova-Reid, Michael Golding, Caleb Okoli and Abdul Fatawu. Meanwhile, Facundo Buonanotte arrived on loan from Brighton.
