ChatGPT has been used to write essays, tell jokes, and even compose best man speeches.
But it seems that the helpful AI bot can even make sure that people on dating apps aren’t lying to you about their height.
Women take screenshots of photos from dating app profiles, paste them into ChatGPT and ask it to give an estimate of their height.
Justine Moore, a venture capitalist in San Francisco, said the AI’s estimates are accurate to within an inch – not just for men but for women as well.
Therefore, it can be a good tool to assess your romantic interest before arranging a meeting.

In her tweet, Moore said: “Girls use ChatGPT to see if guys lie about their height on dating apps.”
“Upload four pictures. Size will be estimated based on proportions and surroundings.”
“I tested it on 10 friends and family members – all estimates were within an inch of their actual size.”
As long as you have a ChatGPT account, you can try out the clever trick yourself.
Simply take screenshots of your match from the dating app you use, be it Tinder, Bumble, Badoo or OKCupid.
Upload these photos to ChatGPT with the instruction: “How tall do you think this person is?”
ChatGPT should return an estimate that may or may not confirm the size of your match.
If you initially provide only one photo, ChatGPT may request additional photos to make a more accurate assessment.
I tried it out by sending ChatGPT a photo of myself – however, one photo was not enough for me and only after sending a second photo did the AI give an estimate.

It said: “Based on his proportions and typical height, he appears to be relatively tall, probably around 6’0″ or more.”
I’m about 6’2″ so it wasn’t a bad estimate, even though both photos were more or less full body shots.
ChatGPT has difficulty giving the best estimate when most of the person’s body is not visible in the photo.
In addition, prominent features in the background, such as a car or a street sign, are required to bring the body into the correct proportions.
Women in particular are increasingly looking for ways to avoid dating someone who is shorter than their personal ideal.
On dating apps like Bumble and Badoo, people add personal details to their profile to increase their chances of finding the perfect partner – including their height.
But according to an analysis by OKCupid, men are increasingly inclined to increase their actual height by a few inches to increase their chances of getting a date.

Some men try to make their size less obvious by making their size more ambiguous – for example, by deliberately choosing to have their size photographed sitting down.
